Isaac has been recognized as an industry leading, agile, innovative CIO. In 2015 he was interviewed by Forbes on 5 Things to Do When Leading a Digital Transformation, was listed on their Top 20 Social CIOs and was recognized as a Top 100 CIO in STEM. In 2013, he received TechTarget’s CIO award for Technology Advancement. In 2014, 2015 and 2016, he was listed on Huffington Post’s Top Social CIOs. He is an industry speaker on many business enabling topics including innovation, enterprise agile, and big data analytics. He writes a blog, Social, Agile, and Transformation, that covers topics on CIO technology transformation, agile execution, big data, innovation, and digital marketing. In 2013 to 2014 he was a member of the Board of the SiiA Content Division.

Isaac is an entrepreneur and specialist in agile management practices, big data, citizen developer programs, data science, data warehousing, NoSQL XML search technologies, CMS content management systems, media and publishing technologies, social networking, CRM, digital marketing solutions, web analytics, digital advertising, and enterprise collaboration practices.

Isaac has held CIO positions at Greenwich Associates, McGraw Hill Construction (now Dodge, Data and Analytics), and BusinessWeek where he's had leadership roles driving business transformation. He's launched new social, business intelligence, and subscription products while transforming the organization with agile, DevOps, data science, portfolio management and product management practices.

Prior to that, Isaac held CTO roles at several startups. He was the founder and chief operating officer of TripConnect, a Web 2.0 social travel website where users can share advice on destinations and hotels with friends, family, and communities with common travel interests. Isaac was also founder and CTO of PowerOne Media and AdOne, companies that provided SaaS applications to newspaper companies in content management, classified ad search, and digital advertising.

Isaac holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Binghamton University, and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Arizona.
